At the moment it is not possible for the workflow manager to assign a TSC a task in the workflows at the title reg workflow stage so a work-around has to be used when assigning a task (for example, a scoping search to assess the likelihood of finding eligible studies).2 votes
The issue is that the Title Registration Template does not include a dedicated TSC role. The current workaround is to use the Editorial Base 2 or 3 role, and add a custom task to the Group’s template .
This task should be added to Title Registration, Protocol and Review Development workflows. CRGs may wish to send thanks and feedback (eg. by way of the collated editorial comments) to their referees, but there does not at present appear to be a task for this - neither standard nor optional.12 votes
Implemented: as an interim improvement, this task is now in the set of predefined custom tasks that CRGs can easily insert into their custom templates.
This should be included as default task the next time the templates are updated.
Note: currently CRGs have the option of manually adding this as a custom task to all their relevant templates.

when editing task email templates the viewing screen is VERY SMALL - it is necessary to scroll up and down to locate the email to be checked / amended / edited etc etc.
If the viewing pane were bigger this would save so much time!! and make locating task emails easier.
There is plenty of redundant space in the frame.

If the CEU suggests changes to a new review following screening, there is no way for this to be implemented within the current workflow. If you backtrack the workflow so the authors can resubmit a revised version it is automatically re-sent to the CEU for screening again.1 vote
