How can we improve the Cochrane Style Manual?

Warning about Wiley's PDF rendering omitting special characters

Currently the Symbols and special characters section gives the impression that what you see is what you get. This is unfortunately misleading. For example the character ≠ will appear in the RevMan file normally just like any letter or number. However, when the protocol or review with this character in the text is published the character will not appear on the PDF at all. This is a technical problem and should be fixed as such. Before it is fixed people need to be aware of this and think of suitable workarounds.

Thanks, Jani, this isn't really a matter of 'style' but agree that practical guidance useful within the Style Manual.
